The General Meeting of Shareholders is the highest governing body of UZCE.
The General Meeting of Shareholders (Annual General Meeting of Shareholders) is held annually. The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders is held no later than six months after the end of the financial year. The General Meeting of Shareholders is held annually from 10 to 30 June. If necessary, the Supervisory Board has the right to hold an annual general meeting of shareholders before the date specified in this paragraph, with prior notification of shareholders in the manner prescribed by law.
The annual general meeting of shareholders resolves issues on the election of the UZCE's Supervisory Board and Audit Committee, as well as considers the UZCE's annual report, reports of the Executive Body and the UZCE's Supervisory Council on measures taken to achieve the UZCE’s Development Strategy and other documents.
General meetings of shareholders held in addition to the annual are extraordinary.
The competence of the general meeting of shareholders of UZCE includes, in particular, the reorganization of UZCE and liquidation of UZCE, determination of the quantitative composition of the Supervisory Board, election of its members and early termination of their powers, approval of the organizational structure of UZCE, approval of the annual report of UZCE, as well as approval and introduction of amendments and additions to the Development Strategy of UZCE for the medium and long term.
